There it goes…
The sunday I mean.
Woke up at 10 ish, followed by brunch and a little surfing and reading. A 15 minutes rest before I wanted to start scrapbooking turned out to be an almost 3 hours sleep! Yes. 3 hours. Entah, cmana kah tu.
So my bid to do some scrapping this week has been scrapped (no pun intended) off. Trip to Shabby earlier has inspired me though. Might start a project next week 😀
Almost two weeks now without any scrapping. Oh, didn’t get anything from Shabby this week too! How good am I? Itchy hands pulang but what to do? Self- control. Need to save money for other projects 😀
I’m off to do some reading now (yes, i am surprised with how much reading i’ve been doing lately too! books, magazines, researches on the Internet.) and probably fall asleep on the couch before 10pm again. Har har.

Chocolate Stash.
I did not realise until a minute or so ago that I am building a chocolate stash! It’s not so secret but it is very much far from Anessa’s reach. Hehe. Kidding babe!
I bought a box of Lindt Lindor Milk during our weekly grocery shopping, much to my husband’s amusement. Bought a bar of Guylian Praline earlier and have asked a colleague to buy me a bag of mini Reese’s Pieces. Oh, Spikez gave me a slice of Saffron’s Triple Layer Cheesecake earlier today too, which is sitting nicely in the fridge for breakfast tomorrow.
And I was complaining, why? Psft.
My breakfast today consisted of Chocolate Milk and 2 Lindt Lindor. Hehe.
I have a dinner thing to go tonight. I was going to buy a belly dancing skirt but the husband gave me a look (actually it was more than a look. haha.), so I have decided to tone it down and wear an ethnic-inspired top instead. Ethnic-inspired but I don’t know how it is Arabian though. I’ll just wear a black tudung with it. Arabs love their black tudungs right?
Going to lie down and rest for a bit. Told the rest, we will be there before 8. Hehe.

Rain, Rain.
Lately, I have been thinking a lot about Brisbane. On our way back this evening, I suddenly thought of Rove and actually missed him. Heh. Adakah si Rove dirindukan.
The other day I saw photos of my cousins eating what could only look like Dominoes Pizza! Or was it New York Pizza from China Town! Nyums! I wonder if the NY Pizza is still there. They have like the yummiest pizza in Brisbane. Okay, maybe after any pizza from Dominoes with barbeque sauce.
I could so list out the delish food in Brisbane but I think I have forgotten most of their names! Haha. The adek got me Nando sauces from KL, so that should keep me satisfied for the next month or so. Once my stock runs out, I can always count on either my other adek or Ghasidah to get them for me *hint hint*. God, I think I would have to send Ghasidah a list of what I want for Brisbane but I know, the husband will not let me.
Repeat after me. I will not succumb to cravings. It will only make you faaa-aat-er. Huhuhu.
I think I also miss the sour worms at Indroo cinema. Haha.
Enough cravings.
Earlier this week, I asked my cousin in York, if she could pop by her local Sainsbury and get mean Anya ‘I’m not a plastic bag’ bag.
The website said that they will start selling at 8am, so I told her to go earlier. She did. She went at 7.30am, only to find out that the bags sold out by 7am and that people started queuing at 5 freaking morning. Oh, each Sainsbury outlet was only selling 30 bags. Frust, frust.
Not as frustrated as a friend’s friend, who queued for the bag and foud out she was number 31! Menangis tu banar.
I now have a mission to stalk their website for the release of the US version of the bag AND the Japanese version of the bag. A DEAR friend (love you! banar! huhuhu!) will also happen to be in Japan for the store release of the bag so I KNOW he will get it for me (no pressure but you can soooo take the Japanese girls & boys! Hahahaha!).
Warning: If you have the bag, please do not flaunt it in front of me, might just steal it from you and run far, far away. Hahaha. Kidding. I will just threaten you until you give me the bag. Haha.
p.s. husband, since I missed out on the bag above, maybe now I can buy the other bag? hehehe.

He was in trouble with the army, got fired and now thought, ‘hell, i’ll be a recording artist and show them’.

He was never an army. He just thought it would be fun to put on an army uniform and started singing for youtube. Now, another one for his fans out there.
… so which one is it?
Yes, some of you may think I’m being overly dramatic but I thought if he wasn’t in uniform from the beginning, it wouldn’t really be an issue. Family and friends have shown me sillier things Bruneians do on youtube (yes, I don’t really know how to use youtube unless people send me the direct link. haha.).
Plus, plus, plus…. balik2 wahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Oh, this time he looks so much happier singing it than before. Nevertheless, the song remains as annoying as I remembered.
Yes, I’m a pisces. Hence, I’m passionate and can be a drama queen. LOL.

I was on my way home from lunch with my friends earlier when I heard the ‘param-pam-pam’ song by the infamous army recruit (available on youtube if you have been living in a cave) on a NATIONAL RADIO STATION!!!!
Few days ago I was talking to someone, I think it was James, that the song was getting old and it is no longer funny nor it is pleasant to the ears. In other words, it’s annoying (the song or the the idea- you be the judge!).
Not only they played the original (as per youtube) but they also did a remix of it of some sort. Seriously? Like seriously?
The purpose of this post is- was that clip intentional (as per most youtube clips) or was the recruit part of some sort of army orientation (or whatever they call it?).
The parental unit mentioned the clip over dinner last week. Apparently, the younger siblings showed the clip to them online and I think, someone showed it to them through the brilliance of today’s mobile phone too. Mum then mentioned that they are now thinking of taking a disciplinary action against the recruit?
Again, my question- was it intentional? or did his senior asked him to perform, took a video of it and posted it on youtube?
If it was intentional, I’m guessing disciplinary action should be taken, especially if he was the one who uploaded it on youtube.
If it was not, don’t you guys (particularly that certain NATIONAL RADIO STATION) have any heart?
I’m guessing, and it is only a guess, that it is actually the latter. If the guy was really an army recruit (and sane!), he would not do that, particularly in an army uniform!
I know for a fact that Bruneians take pleasure in people’s misery (don’t say you’re not if you’re a Bruneian. don’t pretend.) but if this was an act of embarassing the dude, not only you’re putting his job on the line, you’re also givng the impression that they do not have some sort of discipline plus inda kamu ngalih kah?
Enough is enough. First time its funny, second time its okay, then it is just plain annoying.
If you know the real story behind it. Real story ah, not speculations, drop a comment. I wish to know if I’m right or not.
Oh, not only that radio station played the song twice (original & remix) back to back, later in the evening, I heard someone called in and actually requested for the song! Oh lord!
